A few days ago, Wei Hong, Deputy Director of Jiangxi Jiujiang Customs, led a team to Elkem Xinghuo Silicones. They issued the Customs Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) senior certification to Elkem Xinghuo Silicones and organized an on-site meeting on implementing preferential measures for AEO senior-certified enterprises.
As the highest credit rating for international trade enterprises recognized by the world's customs authorities, the AEO Certification of Customs is a "green pass" for enterprises to carry out international trade and is regarded as a "golden signboard" for foreign trade enterprises. Enterprises that have passed AEO certification and their overseas customers can enjoy several incentives such as reduced clearance time, lower inspection rate, priority arrangement for port inspection, priority to territorial inspection, optimized verification operations, etc. At the same time, they can also enjoy the customs clearance facilitation measures provided by the customs authorities of 48 AEO mutual recognition countries (regions) in 22 economies.
At the meeting, after introducing the preferential policies and measures for AEO senior-certified enterprises, Wei Hong put forward several practical guiding suggestions in combination with the import and export business of Elkem Xinghuo Silicones. According to Wei Hong, Jiujiang Customs will continually strengthen the policy dovetail with Elkem Xinghuo Silicones to provide more accurate and considerate enterprise services.
In the future, by firmly implementing the strict standard of AEO advanced certification, Elkem Xinghuo Silicones will proactively learn the latest customs policies while strengthening communication with the business departments of customs to export more quality products and services, thus contributing more to the development of the local economy.
