On April 19, the Chinese Embassy in France held a ceremony to award the 2022 Chinese Government Friendship Award. On behalf of the Chinese government, Ambassador to France Lu Shaye presented the medal and certificate of the Chinese Government Friendship Award to Jean-Marc Dublanc, CEO of Adisseo. Hao Zhigang, Chairman and Party Secretary of Bluestar, Wang Yan, Director of the Strategic Execution Department of Bluestar, and relevant personnel from the management of Adisseo attended the ceremony.
The Chinese Government Friendship Award is the highest honor bestowed by the Chinese government annually since 1991 to honor foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions to China’s modernization and reform and opening-up. The recipients of the Friendship Award are selected by a jury organized by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs after recommendations from the employing unit, local government, and relevant ministries and commissions of the State Council, under strict procedures of evaluation and voting. In 2022, a total of 49 foreign experts from 21 countries were awarded the Chinese Government Friendship Award.
As a global expert in animal nutrition, Jean-Marc Dublanc has been actively involved in the construction of China’s animal nutrition industry and Sino-French industrial cooperation, making positive contributions to the promotion of Chinese-style modernization and cultivating the flowers of friendship and fruitful exchanges and cooperation between China and France, said Ambassador Lu Shaye in his speech to present the award.
According to Ambassador Lu Shaye, in the face of new historical challenges, the Chinese government will continue to actively implement global development initiatives, global security initiatives, and global civilization initiatives by adhering to its basic policy of opening up internationally and firmly pursuing a win-win cooperation strategy, building a human community with a shared future with other countries in the world.
Looking ahead, for more cooperation results to benefit the two countries and peoples, China welcomes more foreign experts in various fields to participate in the Chinese-style modernization process, thus making new and greater contributions to enhance the common welfare of all mankind.
On behalf of Bluestar, Hao Zhigang expressed his congratulations to Jean-Marc Dublanc on this award and his appreciation for his important contribution to China’s animal nutrition industry over the years. Being placed with great expectations, Adisseo would continue to uphold the concept of green, low-carbon, and sustainable development and implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the “all-encompassing approach to food” with practical actions, contributing to China’s food security strategy and green and low-carbon development.
In his acceptance speech, Jean-Marc Dublanc expressed his sincere gratitude to the Chinese government for awarding the Friendship Award and to the Chinese Embassy in France for hosting this grand ceremony. Recalling with affection the experience of more than ten years of involvement in the animal nutrition industry with his Chinese colleagues, he spoke highly of the achievements of Sino-French cooperation in various fields and wished the flowering of Sino-French friendship even more gloriously. In addition, he stated that Adisseo would contribute to food safety and quality in China and the world by continuing to bring more solutions to the customers while actively practicing sustainable development strategies.
